About Us

Meet Our Office

Our patients return to us year after year because we have such deep knowledge about hearing loss and hearing aids, and we take pride in our ability to answer questions and make sure our patients feel empowered and educated about their own hearing situation.

Our Hearing Specialist

Terry Freeman, BC-HIS

My name is Terry Freeman. I was born and raised here in Pensacola. Over the years, I have had many opportunities to further my career in other places, but Pensacola is home. I have been asked to speak both nationally and internationally on hearing and helping the hearing impaired. I am Florida and Nationally Board Certified. I began my career at the Medical Center Clinic and have been serving the hearing impaired for over 40 years here in Pensacola.
I strive to know my patients and give them the time they need to find answers to their questions. Everyone is important, and we never want you to feel rushed.

I have worked for others for many years. With God’s help and family support, I was able to realize my dream to provide care for the hearing impaired in the best manner possible.

Family is important to me. I have been married for 33 years to my wife Rhonda and have two amazing kids who are married and have been blessed with careers they love. I also am a proud grandpa.
I would like the opportunity to treat you like family.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

w

Patient Interview

Typically, the initial appointment begins with a comprehensive interview. We will discuss what kinds of problems you may be having and if you are currently trying anything to treat them. This interview helps our us understand each patient’s history and is useful in directing the rest of the testing and treatment. In this interview, we will discuss next steps and what can be done to resolve any issues.

Testing & Evaluation

The next portion of any first appointment is testing. The types of tests will be specific to your symptoms and condition. We may test for hearing loss, tinnitus, sound sensitivity, or general hearing. After the testing and evaluation, we will share our initial diagnosis and discuss treatment options, so you can make an informed decision concerning your treatment plan.

Treatment Plan & Follow-Up

We conduct a decision-making session where we discuss your results and how you can reduce your symptoms and increase your quality of life. Here is where we decide the appropriate next steps, which may mean therapy, hearing aids, or other methods of treatment. We offer treatment and devices on-site, which makes it easy for us to create an individual treatment plan for our patients from the initial visit to follow up and maintenance appointments.

What People Are Saying About Our Office

Terry is kind, helpful, patient, and professional. He has helped with my mother’s hearing aids and I appreciate his help so much! Loss of hearing is not as simple as it may seem. The hearing aids are miraculous but there is still caring for the ears and aging adults can have issues they cannot help. Communicating can become frustrating with the loss of hearing and he gets it. He wants to help that quality of hearing to give a better quality of living.

ElizaBeth Plant Sexton

Terry is very knowledgeable and personable. My husband has had a hearing problem for years. He had a bad experience with another company, but Terry was able to satisfy his misgivings. He is wearing his hearing aids and can hear things that he was unable to hear before. He is very pleased and I am too.
